Ahead of the upcoming European Union (EU) De minimis changes expected in July 2026, France has introduced a temporary €2 small parcel tax applicable to low value goods imported from 1 March 2026. No action is required and further information on changes is detailed below.

Calculation update

Postal and courier shipments to France from outside the EU with a CIF value of €150 or less, will now attract a €2 charge per line item.

API

As with other additional taxes and charges, this fee will be included in the additional_tax_and_charges_total.

The US Supreme Court held that the International Emergency Economic Powers Act (IEEPA) does not give the US President authority to impose tariffs. As a result, all tariffs imposed under IEEPA are invalid as of 20 Feb 2026.

A temporary 10% additional tariff on all foreign origin items under Section 122 has been issued, effective 24 Feb 2026.

Note: All non-IEEPA US additional tariffs continue to remain in affect
